Hayley started working for the University of Central Lancashire in January 2020. In her current role as Senior Research Assistant, she provides support to the research themes and member organisations across the ARC NWC, with a particular focus on how to increase the rate at which research findings are implemented to improve health and care services. Hayley is working collaboratively with other researchers and member organisations to undertake research activities, which are centred around reducing the health inequalities experienced by local communities.

Hayley completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Lancaster University in 2013 and went on to study an MSc in Neuroimaging at the University of Manchester. She has previously been involved in conducting health research as part of her academic education. She has contributed to research projects around using neuroimaging for the pre-surgical planning of primary brain tumour removal and in developing better knowledge º£½ÇÊÓƵ brain areas implicated in chronic pain syndrome. In addition to her academic background, Hayley has experience of working in local authority settings supporting children and young people.
